Resources & Insights
Practical guides from the Octonyx engineering team on AI adoption, workflow automation, cloud architecture and enterprise software, written from the projects we deliver for clients.
Guides and articles
What you will find here
The resources section is where we write up what we have learned building software for clients. Each guide is aimed at the person who has to make a decision: an operations lead weighing up automation, a founder scoping a first product, or a technical lead planning a migration. We try to explain the trade-offs, the order of work and the questions worth asking a vendor, rather than selling a single answer.
Articles are grouped by category, and you can search by title, topic or keyword using the filters above. Current topics include:
- AI and digital transformation: where AI adds value in day-to-day operations, how to pick a first use case, and how to measure whether it worked.
- Cloud architecture: patterns for building systems that stay secure, observable and affordable as usage grows.
- Enterprise software delivery: scoping, integration with existing systems and planning a release that does not disrupt the people who depend on it.
